Qualifications

Alexander Leritz, RD

Alexander is a Registered Dietitian (RD) with a Master’s in Nutrition from State University of New York Oneonta (Summa Cum Laude) and a Bachelor’s in Nutrition from Commonwealth University- Mansfield (Summa Cum Laude). Alexander has been a practicing RD in the United States and now has brought his expertise to Canada, providing evidence-based nutrition care to support individuals in achieving their health and wellness goals.

History

Alexander is not only an expert in the field of nutrition, but also brings to the table a deep empathy for his clients. Alexander’s personal health journey began in 2013. Back then, Alexander was considered to be obese, lived a sedentary lifestyle, and was a heavy smoker. At the age of 21 years old, Alexander was warned by his doctor that without major lifestyle change, that he was on the fast track to chronic disease. Determined to take control of his health, Alexander joined his local gym, quit smoking, and spent countless hours at night researching fitness and nutrition, all in the pursuit of reclaiming his well-being.

Two years later, Alexander had lost over 80lbs, achieved all of his health and fitness goals, and received a clean bill of health from his doctor. This transformation ignited his passion for nutrition and fitness, inspiring him to pursue an education and career dedicated to helping others achieve their own health goals.

Beyond his academic expertise, Alexander additionally has 8 years of fitness coaching experience ranging from personal and group training to CrossFit training, bodybuilding, and everything in between. Alexander has worked with a diverse range of clients, many of whom have been successful in achieving their long-term weight loss and fitness goals through sustainable lifestyle change.

Alexander additionally has extensive clinical nutrition expertise through his tenure as a Critical Care Registered Dietitian in a Level 1 Trauma Center in Pennsylvania where he provided Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) to patients with complex conditions including, diabetes, cancer, cardiovascular disease, and critical illness.

With a strong foundation in both nutrition and fitness, Alexander understands that achieving health goals is about more than just knowledge, it’s about resilience, commitment, and overcoming obstacles. He doesn’t just bring expertise to his clients, he brings compassion, understanding, and first-hand experience of the challenges they face on their journey to better health.
