History

Paulina is a kind, gentle, and positive person who looks for the best in others. Her empathy and passion for human connection, in addition to her experiences working in Indigenous primary care in Vancouver, have given her a deep appreciation for the impact emotions can have on food choices. She will listen to, encourage, and provide validation to clients facing challenges, offering personalized care options to best navigate any client barriers so that they can ultimately achieve their diet-related goals. She believes that change is always possible, and likes to explore achievable opportunities with clients, in order to help them build on their successes.

Paulina has developed a long-standing appreciation for art of all kinds. She grew up dancing competitively, where she fell in love with the elegance and gracefulness of ballet. Her growing appreciation for the arts prompted her to take up the study of interior design, where she was able to further explore her love of art from a designer’s perspective.

In recent years, this unwavering love and appreciation has transitioned to the art of cooking and creating exciting recipes that balance healthy eating with flavourful appeal.  Much like in her cooking, her creative side comes alive when problem-solving and brainstorming nutrition interventions with clients. She is comfortable adapting and coming up with different strategies in order to best suit the needs of her clients.

Outside of work, Paulina enjoys spending time with her partner and her family, goes on frequent walks in the city, hikes in nature, and plays old-school video games to wind down after a long day.

She looks forward to helping you on your journey to health and wellness.
