Qualifications:

Vanessa Hurley, Registered Dietitian

Vanessa is a registered dietitian with a BSc. in Human Nutrition (Honours) from St. Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia and a Master of Health Sciences (Community Nutrition) from the University of Toronto and has earned numerous scholarships and awards while pursuing her post-secondary and post graduate education. She has been a member of the College of Dietitians since 2004.

History:

Barrie native and registered dietitian for Ontario residents, Vanessa, has experience working as a registered dietitian for two major Canadian food companies, in media/nutrition communications, in private practice, and for two Ontario public health units with a prenatal/infant/child health and a chronic disease prevention focus.

Vanessa provides evidence-based food and nutrition advice and compassionate care, working with you to create the best possible plan to meet your goals. Vanessa is passionate about intuitive and mindful eating, helping others develop and maintain a healthy relationship with food no matter the age or stage and helping others develop sustainable, positive eating habits for life.

She is a mom to two boys and a dog who keep her very active and busy.
