ONE-TIME COUNSEL

This approximately 90-minute session includes:

  • An analysis of your eating habits and personal goals by a registered and recognized Toronto nutritionist, based on your food log.
  • A custom-made meal plan based on your specific goal, lifestyle, food preferences, budget, etc.
  • A co-created shopping list that includes various food recommendations, including brand names, for your next grocery store trip.
  • Specific food suggestions and recommendations of recipes.
  • Weight loss tips, if desired.
  • Recommendation of high-quality vitamins and supplements, if applicable.
  • One follow-up email to check on your progress.
  • Session conducted in-person, by phone, Skype, FaceTime or Zoom.
  • Please note: We respectfully request at least 24-hour notice for cancellations of appointments.

HEALTHY BASICS

This 4-week package includes:

  • Approximately 90-minute initial session and 3 follow-up counseling sessions: approximately 30 min. each.
  • Detailed analysis of your eating habits and personal goals by a registered and recognized Toronto nutritionist, based on your food log.
  • A custom-made meal plan based on your specific goal, lifestyle, food preferences, budget, etc.
  • A co-created shopping list that includes various food recommendations, including specific brand names, for your next grocery store trip.
  • Specific food suggestions and recommendations of recipes designed to help reach your specific goal.
  • New: A detailed guideline with specific visual examples designed to help you navigate your way around serving sizes.
  • Unique: Wine, beer and spirits selection guide designed to help you make more informed alcohol choices to avoid self-sabotaging your goals when you drink—a common stumbling block for many.
  • Recipe revamps, if desired.
  • Weight loss tips, if desired.
  • Recommendation of high-quality vitamins and supplements, if applicable.
  • On-going support of a nutritionist. 
  • Sessions conducted in-person, by phone, Skype, FaceTime or Zoom.
  • Email support throughout the duration of the program.
  • Access to a network of reputable health practitioners.

Follow-up sessions include:

  • A series of routine questions asked by the nutritionist designed to obtain a more comprehensive understanding of the problem areas, struggles and successes, from which we can adjust the plan to meet your specific goals.  
  • Review of your food log, accompanied by suggestions, recommendations and the assigning of short-term goals.
  • Answering of questions and addressing various concerns, if any.
  • Creating an action plan which outlines specific, individualized strategies whose aim is to help you reach your goals (e.g., Customer has a party on the weekend. How does one still enjoy oneself without sabotaging a good week of eating well and losing weight? Or, customer is traveling for work and needs advice on what to snack on or eat while dining out at restaurants.)
  • Revamping of recipes.
  • Providing strategies designed to help overcome any plateau you may be experiencing during the program.
  • Weigh-ins (optional).

WEIGHT LOSS INTENSIVE (MOST POPULAR) 

This 8-week package includes:

  • Approximately 90-minute initial session, 2 follow-up counseling sessions: approximately 45 min. each, 5 follow-up counseling sessions: approximately 30 min. each.
  • Detailed analysis of your eating habits and personal goals by a registered and recognized Toronto nutritionist, based on your food log.
  • A custom-made meal plan based on your specific goal, lifestyle, food preferences, sensitivities, budget, etc. meticulously designed for weight loss.
  • A co-created shopping list that includes various food recommendations, including brand names, for your next grocery store trip.
  • Specific food suggestions and simple, nutritious recipes designed to help you lose weight and keep it off.
  • New: A detailed guideline with specific visual examples designed to help you navigate your way around serving sizes.
  • Unique: Wine, beer and spirits selection guide designed to help you make more informed alcohol choices to avoid self-sabotaging your goals when you drink—a common stumbling block for many.
  • Revamp of your favourite recipes, if desired.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

1. Which Package?

Please take a look at my packaged nutrition programs and decide which of the three, One-Time Counsel, Healthy Basics or Weight Loss Intensive appeals to you the most.

I encourage you to look at the features carefully to make sure you select the most suitable package.

 

2. How would you like to receive nutrition counseling?

Next you should decide if you’d like to receive nutrition counseling in person or via phone, Skype, FaceTime, etc. You can now join many of my customers who resort to virtual counseling, particularly following the initial session. Read more here: Online Counseling: Is It Right For Me?

 

3. Office locations

If you prefer to have your sessions conducted in person, please take a look at my three office locations and decide which is the most convenient.

 

4. Book right away or consult by phone first?

Next, determine if…

a) …you’d like to book the initial session as part of one of the packages, so we can swiftly book an appointment and get started on working together to reach your goal, or

b) … you’d like to conduct a free phone consultation with me first, during which you can ask questions and discover more about my approach and packages.

Of course, the consultation can also be completed via email, for your convenience. Just send me your questions and I will reply as soon as I can. Some people prefer this method because they can refer to my answers at a later time. The choice is yours.

 

5. Email me to find out what my availability is like

If you select option a) and would like to book the initial session, simply email me and I will let you know what spots are available. Don’t forget to specify which one of the packages and location are of interest to you. We then book an appointment.

If, on the other hand, you select option b) which involves the free phone consultation, please email me and let me know that this is what you require. I will reply with my availability. Naturally, email consultations are far easier as you can just email me your questions, if any, right away. We then book an appointment should you wish to proceed.

 

6. Intake form

After booking an appointment for the initial session as part of one of the three packages at your chosen location, I will send you an intake form designed to give me a clearer picture of your health concerns and goals, allowing me to serve you better.

The form must be filled out and returned to me digitally (email) prior to the initial session—our first session together. 

 

7. First appointment—initial session

During the first appointment (i.e. initial session) we will co-create a personalized meal plan based on your intake form and input. You will also receive folder containing a visual food servings guide, an alcohol selection guide and other important guidelines (pertains to the 4- and 8-week packages only) that will help you on the way to success.

 

8. Meal plan arrives

A few days after this session, you will receive the personalized meal plan designed to help you navigate your way through meals, so you can get started on your way to better health and nutrition. Digital links to recipes will also be sent.

 

9. Schedule follow-up sessions

In addition, after the initial session, we schedule weekly or biweekly sessions, as our schedules permit, to check in, monitor progress, make adjustments, q & a, etc.

 

10. Need to cancel?

If for whatever reason you’re unable to make it to your appointment, we ask that you notify us at least 24 hours in advance, but the more time you can give us, the better we can serve all customers—including you.

 

11. Payment

Please keep in mind that payment is due upon the first visit (i.e. initial session). We accept the following methods of payment: credit card, electronic money transfer or cash.
